So what’s in a name? Well, often times the band we love was not really the band that began under the name we love them for. You know Richard Steven Valenzuela had his name changed to Richie Valens by his agent right? This kind of thing happens all of the time, but you’d never know it until you did a little research.

Wicked Lester (KISS)
The Salty Peppers (Earth Wind and Fire)
U2 (The Hype)
The Pendletons (The Beach Boys)
The Who (Detour)
The Pulka Tulk Blues Band (Black Sabbath)
Naked Toddler (Creed)
The Quarrymen (The Beatles)
Tom and Jerry – (Simon and Garfunkel)
Mookie Blaylock (Pearl Jam)
Sweet Children (Green Day)
Smile (Queen)
