Our 2018 Golden Globes Preview

The Golden Globes celebrate its 75 birthday, with nominations due a few days from now. Seth Meyers has been tapped as the host for the upcoming 75th, 2018 Golden Globes celebration, held in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hilton on January 7th.

Considered the winner precursor of the Academy Awards which are held later in the schedule, the Golden Globe often reveals the temperature in the room for Oscar hopefuls. Administered by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the event began in 1944. Meryl Streep has earned the most Golden Globes (7) and the most nominations (28) with Jack Nicholson coming in second in wins with 17.

The nominations for the 2018 Golden Globes will be made public Monday, December 11th, and the actual broadcast of the show will be Sunday, January 7th, 2018, on NBC.
