1990 – The Byrds, LaVerne Baker, John Lee Hooker, The Impressions, Wilson Pickett, Jimmy Reed and Ike & Tina Turner were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

1991 – Three members of Pink Floyd were injured in a auto race in Mexico.
