This past week has been huge for new pop music. From Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus also dropping new tunes, Normani has made herself stand out from the crown. The pop singer has taken a massive step in her post-Fifth Harmony career with her new single “Motivation.” “Take a look at me now, a little motivation,” she sings.
The clip starts with a throwback to a young Normani drawing inspiration from her fave music TV show. Now all grown-up and wearing a top stamped with the year of her birth, 1996, Normani and a team of dancers throw a party in the streets of Los Angeles. They’re all seriously motivated.
The followup to Normani’s hit collaboration with Sam Smith, “Dancing With a Stranger,” “Motivation” is accompanied by a music video crammed with nods to classic tunes and looks.
