Normani and Sam Smith release an Acoustic version of their hit ‘Dancing with a Stranger’

On Friday, February 15th, Sam Smith and Normani released an acoustic version of their hit song ‘Dancing With a Stranger’. The new arrangement of the breakup anthem trades the original’s sultry R&B for a dreamy, slowed-down vibe. Quiet piano and gorgeous strings replace pulsing bass and shimmering production while the two pop stars trade verses about rebounding from heartbreak by seeking solace in the arms of strangers on the dancefloor.

“Dancing With A Stranger” is the first new music from Smith since “Promises,” his 2018 collaboration with Calvin Harris. Earlier this week, Smith opened up about his struggles with body image in a vulnerable Instagram post
