Muse came into this year’s Grammys with six career Grammy nominations (one this year), but just one Grammy award. This would change at this year’s award show and in a good way for the band. For the second time in three tries, Muse won the Best Rock Album at the Grammys.

They were previously nominated for the award back in 2011 and 2013, winning the award in 2013 for their album “The 2nd Law.” In 2016, “Drones” would walk away the winner and make Muse fans around the globe happy.

To win the award, the band had to beat out a stud group of nominations. James Bay, Slipknot, Highly Suspect, and Death Cab for Cutie were all nominated for the award this year. What an impressive list of nominees to beat out!
