Mumford & Sons in the News Thanks to a Wedding Performance

The band Mumford & Sons is back in the news, with details of accepting and invitation to play the wedding of the year; no not the Royal wedding of Meghan Markle and the Prince of England, but the upcoming wedding of the Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie in late April in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Kit Harrington portrays Jon Snow in the Game of Thrones, and Leslie is a star on the CBS drama The Good Fight. Mumford and Sons are just a part of the list of musicians who have appeared on the HBO show; original members of the band Bastille, Coldplay, and members of the band Of Monsters and Men, have also done their part to brighten up the show. There’s no word on taping or air date of the cameo, expected later this season.
