Film director Mel Gibson returns in good graces to bring a war movie for the ages, perhaps a film response to his “We Were Soldiers,” while Anna Kendrick, Zooey Deschanel, and Justin Timberlake bring Trolls to life with their beautiful music and voices in a family classic.

There are two documentaries that the cerebral movie goes will enjoy, while the artistic enthusiasts will love ‘Doctor Strange’ a film of great color and cinematic power.

Loving (2016)

Hacksaw Ridge (2016)

In WWI, Alvin York from Tennessee refused to take a life in battle, his story inspiring an entire generation. In WWII, Army Medic Desmond T. Doss, fighting at the Battle of Okinawa, also refuses to take a life. What he does however, is save a life; many, many lives without firing a shot. Peter and the Farm (2016)

The Eagle Huntress (2016)
