Music and rock and roll are perfect together. We loved the songs while we watched the movie. Here are a few more movies that were made better by the film’s soundtrack…

‘Hard Day’s Night’ was one of the first rock and roll movies that were both fun to watch and easy to listen to, especially if you were a Beatle fan.

‘That Thing You Do’ is the Tom Hanks story of how a band formed in Erie, PA could accidentally become a one-hit wonder. Tom Hanks starred and produced this lighthearted film.

Neil Diamond’s “The Jazz Singer’ and Barbara Streisand’s ‘Funny Girl’ proved singers could also act.

‘Purple Rain’ starred the actor formerly known as the singer formerly known as Prince. The movie brought the genius of Prince to light for fans and non-fans, and we’re glad it did.

Although it may be outside of your interest level, if you haven’t seen the real-life story of NWA and film ‘Straight Otta Compton’ then you must find the time to see it.
