The world of politics is a tough game, often time where pundits pull no punches, later regretting what was said. Such is the of MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ as the morning shows co-host Mika Brzezinski offered a formal apology regarding the comments made on Morning Joe regarding former guest Mark Halperin.
The sexual harassment issue has been on the front page of the news and online since the Harvey Weinstein debacle, with unforeseen consequences; pitting friends and business associates against each other. Mika and Mark have always shared a common political view, personally supporting each other in private moments. Mika simply found herself in the middle of the Halperin scandal by asking his victims to come on set and speak to her, appearing to take the Morning Joe show to Maury Povich world.
It’s not known the condition of the Brzezinski /Halperin relationship, but it can’t be good. At least Mika chose to admit her mistake and offer a heartfelt apology to Mark. Stay tuned…
