It’s Monday morning, yes another week of working or the man, or the woman. Let’s kick off your day with a few music news headlines…

One of the most popular ‘one hit wonders’ ever recorded was the tune from 1969 called “Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss him Goodbye). The group Steam was led by singer Gary DeCarlo, who sadly died Wednesday June 28th. Gary was 75. Most fans didn’t know that the hit was actually the ‘B’ side of another tune.

If you’re ever in Hollywood be sure to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Recently it was announced that Petula Clark, Simon Cowell, Weird Al Yankovic, Mark Hamill, Lynda Carter, Jennifer Lawrence, Carrie Underwood, Harry Connick, Jr., Snoop Dogg, Ice T, Kirsten Dunst, Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin would also be honored.

In additional sad news, Robert “Bo” Wagner, the original member of the group Starbuck, the 70s band that gave the world “Moonlight Feels Right” in 1976, died June 20 in Santa Monica at the age of 72.
