September is nearing its end and we all know what that means! The MLB playoff race is getting hot. Teams are clinching their spots for the playoffs while others are doing their best to sneak in with only a few games left. Today, let’s take a look at who’s in…
The American League is all set with the Red Sox, Indians, and Astros all having clinches their divisions. The wild card race is even set with the Yankees and A’s both clinching those as well.
In the National League, we see that the Braves have won the East, but the other divisions are wide open. The Cubs and Brewers have clinched their playoff births but having the same record as we speak means that the division is still up for grabs. The Rockies just took over first place in the West over the Dodgers, but nothing is set in stone there either. The Cardinals have a shot at making the playoffs via the wild card and will be competing with those two teams until season’s end for that last spot.
