The MLB free agency period is more than just a few players finding new locations. This free agent class isn’t the best, but it’s more than just three players. Let’s take a look at three more players that teams are going to be fighting over this offseason.

Edwin Encarnacion is the biggest first basemen on the market, coming off some huge seasons in Toronto. He hit 42 home runs last season, so you know there are teams willing to pay up for him. We think he’ll stay in the AL East and be with the Red Sox or the Yankees next season.

There are multiple Dodgers’ players on the market and one of them is Justin Turner. The third basemen has shown versatility in the past, but should command big money because of his 27 home runs last season. The man had a WAR of 5.6! With those kinds of stats behind him, he’ll be getting big money and we think it’ll be from the team down the street so to speak, the Angels.

Dexter Fowler did something no player has done before, hit a leadoff home run in game seven of the World Series. Now he has become a free agent and with the Cubs having so many young players on their roster, we think he heads elsewhere this offseason. Put money on the Cardinals to nab this talented outfielder.
