Mike Love of the Beach Boys has a new album called ‘Unleash the Love,’ and it contains 25 songs that are either previously unreleased solo tunes or covers of popular Beach Boys songs. Let’s just say that Mike’s been preparing for this moment for nearly 30 years, storing songs he felt would one day be better served as his own releases.

One of the discs contains remastered or newer versions of songs like “Help Me Rhonda,” “Warmth of the Sun,” featuring daughter Ambha Love, “California Girls,” “I Get Around,” “Do It Again,” featuring Mark McGrath and John Stamos.

Mike is now 76 years of age, and we wonder what the band would have sounded and how far they might have gone had they not Mike Love’s tender vocals leading the Beach Boy charge for over 50 years.
