Michael McDonald an Influence to Many and Still Going Strong

You might consider Michael McDonald one of the founding fathers of rock, pop, soul and commercial music; it’s hard to find a more influential musician whose fingerprints are on as many bands. The super groups Steely Dan (yes Michael was a member of the band when they toured in the early 70s) and the Doobie Brothers were heavily influenced by Michael.

Michael’s been nominated 13 times for a Grammy, winning five times. He’s collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Boz Scaggs, Dionne Warwick, Kenny Loggins, Van Halen, and Toto. Did you know he grew up in Ferguson, MO?
