Metallica has been around for tens of years and they’re one of the best in the business. They’re still putting out great music these days and they still go out on tour. Just the other day it came out that this band is using Spotify to do a few unique things.
For one, it’s helping them determine where they go on tour. Rumor has it that they are looking to see who is playing their music and from where and using that information to influence upcoming tour locations. To go along with that, Metallica also is using this kind of information to determine which songs to play while on tour. This is some ahead of the game thinking and it doesn’t surprise us that they’re the ones doing this kind of thing.
