One of America’s Hollywood treasures is having a crazy 2017; the good news is Meryl Streep’s latest film ‘The Post,’ from Steven Spielberg, opens this weekend. The movie is based on the real events of Daniel Ellsberg, an analyst who uncovered the truth about the Vietnam War. Meryl plays the female publisher who must find the courage to publish the truth.

The bad news is that Meryl Streep has been in the middle of the ‘rapture on men’ recently, being accused by critics, of either knowing about Harvey Weinstein’s behavior and being complicit or not being truthful.

Actress turned activist Rose McGowan has openly criticized Meryl for working with Harvey over the years, and there are posters circulating around Hollywood and key cities across the US that have Harvey and Meryl together in a picture, with the red ‘SHE KNEW’ across as a splash headline.

Meryl Streep’s ‘The Post,’ is generating early ‘Oscar’ buzz, as Meryl and co-star Tom Hanks are said to be fabulous together.
