Matty Healy of 1975 Talks About Drug Rehab

Matty Healy is a major part of the band The 1975 and so he’s near and dear to so many fan’s hearts. So, it hurts to hear that he went to drug rehab not all that long ago. What’s great to hear though is that he has made it through and is better. Not everyone can admit that they’re an addict, but that’s just what he did. He knew he was addicted to drugs and went away to get better. Kudos to him.

He talked about all of this in DIY Mag when he was discussing lyrics to one of their most recent releases, “Give Yourself a Try.” It’s a shame to hear about what he has been through, but it’s great to hear that he’s beaten addiction.
