On Friday, March 20th, Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford released a stripped-down piano cover of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

The show tune was first featured in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s 1945 musical, Carousel, but has most recently become a British anthem of solidarity during the coronavirus outbreak.

The cover was posted for a good cause. Proceeds from the streams and downloads will aid The Grenfell Foundation and War Child UK. These two organizations aid vulnerable communities in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
