Madonna, Billie Eilish, U2 Perform During Global Citizen’s “Stand Up For Ukraine” Social Media Rally

Global Citizen’s Stand Up For Ukraine social media rally took place over the weekend, bringing in celebrities, musicians, and world leaders together to show solidarity with Ukraine.

The event was co-hosted by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. The social media-wide rally consisted of testimonials from advocates in Ukraine, calls for aid, and many celebrity appearances.

There were also a number of impassioned artists who performed throughout the event, including U2, Alanis Morissette, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Céline Dion, Chris Rock, Demi Lovato, Elton John and his husband David Furnish, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Gloria Steinem, Green Day, Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-lee Furness, the Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, Luke Combs, Madonna, and many more.

Billie Eilish, in particular, dedicated an emotional performance of “Your Power” with her brother Finneas. The pair performed the song in honor of Ukraine during a recent stop on her Happier Than Ever world tour.
