Luke Combs performed on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

On Thursday night, May 9th, Luke Combs returned to The Tonight Show where he made the TV debut of his infectious new single “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”

“Longneck ice-cold beer never broke my heart/ Like diamond rings and football teams have torn this boy apart/ Like a neon dream it just don’t know me, the bars and this guitar/ Longneck ice-cold beer never broke my heart,” he sang on the chorus.

The new song left Jimmy Fallon quite impressed, exclaiming, “Fantastic! Loved it!” following the performance. The fiery number featured Combs’ booming vocals as he sang of all the things that have had him heartbroken in life, beer never, ever being one of them.

“Beer Never Broke My Heart” was recently released to country radio and follows the success of the North Carolina native’s previous five singles, all of which topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
