In what is some pretty exciting news, Luke Bryan has been announced as the opener for the brand new South Dakota State football stadium. This sounds pretty small at first, but realize that SDSU has spent $65 million to build itself a brand new stadium that will be seating 19,000 fans at football games.

The stadium will be opened by a Luke Bryan concert on September 8 while the first football game played there will occur two days later when SDSU takes on Drake.

A limited amount of tickets for the event will go on sale April 29 with SDSU students having a unique ability to buy tickets for a cheaper price before this time. Also, SDSU season ticket holders will have a cheaper rate and better chance at grabbing tickets for this wonderful concert. Over 25,000 people are expected to fill the stadium for this concert.
