Star singer and performer, Lorde, has donated $20,000 to the Upper Hutt children’s charity. This charity is designed to help give kids lunches for those that can not afford to bring their own. The specific charity is Fuel the Need and is great to see from a star who doesn’t have to donate anything to anyone.

She donated the money from her birth name, Ella Yelich-O’Connor, and included a touching message as well. The message said, “Good on you Manuel and Fuel the Need – hope this helps a little bit. Lots of love from a former kid who is passionate about all kids having access to food at school.”

Every day we see stars go through with random acts of kindness and it’s these kinds of moments that make us smile.
