Little Richard – Dead at 87 [AUDIO TRIBUTE]

Self proclaimed king of Rock n Roll, Little Richard has passed away. The iconic music artist was 87 years old, and died of complications to bone cancer.

Richard’s first smash hit, Tutti Frutti, was released in October 1955. From there, Fats Domino, Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Buddy Holly – Little Richard laid down what rock’n’roll was to be like, which took the world by storm and made ‘Little Richard’ a household name.

In the 2000s, Little Richard’s health declined. From a heart surgery in 2008, to a hip replacement in 2009, to then losing his battle with bone cancer on May 9th, 2020.

He is survived by his son, Danny.
