Do you know who’s the hottest performer on the road this summer and early fall? It’s Lionel Richie’s “All the Hits’ with special guest Mariah Carey.

Here are three things you may not have known about Lionel…

1.) In addition to being a prolific songwriter with the Commodores and as a solo act he co-wrote the iconic tune “We Are the World” with the late Michael Jackson.
2.) Before Lionel went to college he spent time and prayed over choosing the life of priesthood as a career.
3.) We know that the Commodores began at Tuskegee University, but did you know why Lionel chose this school to attend? He was given a tennis scholarship to the college.
