Lil Wayne was performing at the Medical Cannabis Concentrates Cup this past weekend when he abruptly left the stage 10 minutes into his hour-long set. The rapper had performed four songs before leaving the stage without any reason being given.
High Times hosts this event and has put out a statement saying “We have no idea why, after a stellar performance by B.O.B., Lil Wayne suddenly ended his performance after just four songs…” They would also go on to say that contractually he was supposed to be on stage performing for their fans for one hour.
It has recently come out though that the reason why Wayne left the stage was because the crowd was too mellow. He wanted energy out of them and for them to dance, but he didn’t see that out of the fans.
