Lil Nas X & Billy Ray Cyrus Celebrate 1 Year of ‘Old Town Road’

Last Sunday, April 5th, Lil Nas X took his horse down memory lane for the one-year anniversary of his No. 1 hit “Old Town Road” remix, featuring country star Billy Ray Cyrus.

Lil Nas X took to Twitter to show his excitement on the milestone. “1 year ago today i dropped a remix to old town road with billy ray cyrus.. i knew it would be successful but DAMN did it change EVERYTHING! can’t express how much this song has done for me. thank u to everybody who made this happen!”

The “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner added his heartfelt message via Twitter on Sunday, sharing a minute-long video of him recording his verse. “Happy 1 year anniversary to #OTR! @LilNasX thank you for taking me on this crazy ride with you! You really do light up the world!”
