“What You Know Bout Love” is a song by Pop Smoke from his posthumous debut studio album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon. The song was written by Pop Smoke, known under his real name Bashar Jackson, alongside Tashim Zene, Elgin Lumpkin, and Troy Oliver. Its production was solely handled by Tash. The song was released as the sixth single from the album on October 9, 2020, by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. An R&B track, “What You Know Bout Love” samples Ginuwine’s “Differences”. Lyrically, it showcases Pop Smoke singing about his passion for his lover. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics, with a number of them praising the lyrics and the rapper’s range.

“Look, baby, I said I ain’t gon’ front
You got my heart beating so fast to words I can’t pronounce
And I be getting the chills every time I feel your touch

It peaked at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number four on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Pop Smoke’s second top-10 single in the United States, and third in the United Kingdom. Internationally, the song peaked within the top five of four other countries, including Norway, where it reached number three. The song has received several certifications, including being certified triple platinum in Canada by Music Canada. The accompanying music video was directed by Oliver Cannon and uploaded to Pop Smoke’s YouTube channel on December 22, 2020. It features never before seen clips of the rapper and his fans performing the song’s dance challenge on TikTok. The video received positive reviews, with critics describing it as bittersweet.
