LeAnn Rimes Makes Hallmark Debut This Holiday Season

LeAnn Rimes is about to do something many country stars have done, appearing in a Hallmark Movie at the end of the year during the channel’s Christmas season; she’ll star in a Christmas film called ‘It’s Christmas Eve.’ The storyline is fairly simple, as she spearheads an effort to raise money to save the music program in her hometown. To add to the drama, her father has just died and she becomes romantically involved with a single dad music teacher – the perfect Hallmark script don’t you think?

The Hallmark channel will add 34 new movies set to premiere at the channels best known season, the money making “Countdown to Christmas.” Kellie Pickler will also star in a film this season on the Hallmark channel. In the past, country stars like JT Hodges, Reba, Billy Ray, Randy Travis, Trace, Dolly, Dwight, Willie, Tim McGraw, Elvis of course, and Kris Kristofferson have appeared in film or television during the holiday season.
