Lady Gaga, star of last year’s House of Gucci, was honored with presenting the Oscar for Best Picture on Sunday but didn’t take the stage on her own.

The singer-turned-actress had personally invited Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award-winning Liza Minelli to be her co-presenter at the 94th Academy Awards.

“You know how I love working with legends,” said Gaga. “And I’m honored to present the final award of the evening with a true show business legend.”

She then supported Minnelli as the Cabaret star, who has experienced a number of ailments and illnesses throughout the last two decades, struggled with her notes during the last award of the evening.

“I got you,” the Chromatica singer told Minnelli, grasping her hand and reminding the 76-year-old actress how much the public loves her.

The EGOT icon replied with a touching, “I know,” giving the 2022 Oscars an unforgettable, loving moment to wrap up the eventful night.
