You’ve probably seen the paparazzi images of Lady Gaga and Adam Driver, dressed in their ’80s and early ’90s finest, going all across Italy to film “House of Gucci,” Ridley Scott’s upcoming crime drama about Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani, a.k.a. Signore e Signora Gucci. The pics hold promises of camp, extravagance and another Gaga Oscar bid. (Plus, the fact that the actual Gucci family isn’t happy about the project added to the buzz surrounding it.)

Well, now the first trailer has been released, and it IS all that and a bag of chips. There are accents! There’s gesticulating! There are plenty of already-quotable lines! All set to Blondie’s “Heart of Glass”!

And as usual, Twitter was all a’twitter over it, with fans posting reactions like:

@kylebuchanan – Accents, Oscars, camp, wigs, pop music, murder, skiing, and tiny espresso cups. Everything I wanted from this trailer, I got.

@notfolu – whispering “father, son, house of Gucci” to myself like a self-soothing technique

@OliviaLilyMarks – Lady Gaga in House of Gucci. That’s History.

Gaga is the clear standout, but other notable moments include an instantly recognizable Al Pacino, an unrecognizable Jared Leto (Wait, that’s Jared Leto?  Yep.), an appearance by the stunning Salma Hayek Pinault and the continuation of an overall great week for Adam Driver fans, coming hot on the heels of the announcement that he’s the new face of Burberry’s men’s fragrance.

“House of Gucci” premieres on November 24 — until then, repeat after us: Father, son and House of Gucci.
