Nowadays all of the biggest stars are either get on social media more or vow to use it less. Ed Sheeran was a big name in 2016 that stepped away from social media and now it sounds like Kesha will do about the same. She recently came out and said that she wanted to use social media less in 2017.

Via Instagram she posted, “I’m not disappearing, just trying to be less obsessed with the Internet. I have been reading about the emotional effects of social media and it seems that it may help my anxiety and depression if I am more present…” You can read the full post on her page, but from the sound of it, she looks to improve herself by being more in the now. She wants to be more present with those around her and to try and help with her anxiety and depression with this choice.

We commend Kesha for doing what she thinks is best. We hope she finds what she needs with this decision to limit her social media usage in 2017.
