Kenan Thompson Announced as 2021 People’s Choice Awards Host

“I can’t believe I get to host the PCAs!!” Kenan Thompson shared after the People’s Choice Awards announced that he will be the event’s host for this year. “I’m beyond blessed to be nominated twice and part of two more nominations for SNL. Good times indeed.”

Thompson, in addition to his hosting duties, has his first-ever PCA nominations for comedy TV star and male TV star for his legendary work on Saturday Night Live.

The 2021 PCAs will take place on December 7th in Santa Monica, California. The show is arranged to air both on NBC and E!, a unique collaboration between a first-time platform for the PCAs and the usual slot-holder since 2018, respectively.

Van Morrison Sued by Northern Ireland’s Health Minister

Northern Ireland’s health minister Robin Swann is suing Van Morrison for defamation over the rocker’s “bizarre and irresponsible” criticisms of Swann’s COVID-19 restrictions and precautions. Morrison has publicly opposed restrictions, released several songs criticizing lockdowns, and denounced the Health Minister at a Belfast event after his concert was canceled due to virus restrictions.
