Kelsey Grammer has a new gig on Fox, securing a lead on the upcoming drama ‘Proven Innocent.’ We don’t remember Kelsey every playing a lawyer but this role will be that of a state attorney who is tough on crime. If you have a good ear you’ll remember Kelsey as the voice of ‘Sideshow Bob’ on “The Simpsons,” but the two roles that made him a household name is that of ‘Fraiser’ in the self titled sitcom, earning him five Emmys. The other role of course is the bar fly in ‘Cheers.’
In the upcoming Fox legal series ‘Proven Innocent.’ Kelsey will star opposite Clare O’Connor, Vincent Kartheiser, Russell Hornsby, Rachelle Lefevre, Riley Smith, and Francis Guinan. The show will be based on a wrongful conviction, one theme in series which is scheduled to kick off midseason at Fox.
