Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett to Host ABC Special ‘CMA Fest’ This August

The 2018 CMA Music Festival wrapped up Sunday night, and although the biggest week in Nashville is now a distant memory, it will provide yet another gold nugget; all the hours of concert footage, from Nissan Stadium to the smaller venues will be whittled down to a three-hour ‘best of’ special that will be called the ‘CMA Fest’ airing on ABC.

The ‘CMA Fest’ will be hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett, the second year for each of these stars in hosting duties. Imagine the work involved to work through over 25 performances from the weekly event, packaged and produced for a major network television special. CMA Fest will air Wednesday, August 8th, at 8pm Est. on ABC.
