Kelly Clarkson is one of the most accomplished American Idol winners of all time and this past weekend 14 years ago she took home the crown. It’s crazy to think that on Sept. 4 of 2002, a legitimate star was born from one of the most entertaining television contests, but such is the case with Kelly.
She beat out Justin Guarini on that night and she took to Twitter to remember that great moment. She wrote “14 years ago 2day @AmericanIdol opened a door w/such amazing opportunities & experiences 4 me! I am 4ever grateful & blessed! #heresto14more”
It’s pretty easy to say that Kelly is the greatest American Idol winner of all time considering she does have plenty of number one hits and three Grammy. Who would have thought that she would have this much success?! Congrats Kelly on this amazing anniversary!
