Kelly Clarkson made news a few weeks ago with news that her suburban Nashville mansion is up for sale for a juicy $8.75 million dollars.
Kelly had a blended beginning, born in Dallas, TX, the youngest of three children that has already been a combination of broken marriages. Her father and mother divorced while she was quite you, so she left to love with her aunt.
She sang in all the glee and musical events in high school, turning down two full scholarships (UT Austin and Berklee College of Music) saying that she wanted to get out there, thinking you can always go back to college.
Imagine Kelly winning the top prize in the inaugural American Idol competition on 2002! Well, that’s what she did. Do you remember whom she beat out? It was Justin Guarini.
She has earned three Grammys, MTV, American Music, Billboard, Academy of Country Music, and other honors in her time as an artist.
