Music can make strange bedfellows, or in this case strange ‘duet’ moments. Kelly Clarkson and actor (Stranger Things) Gaten Matarazzo pulled a page from the popular ‘Carpool Karaoke’ to make news by singing in a golf cart while celebrating Canada’s WE day. Evidently, Gaten was Kelly’s chauffeur for the event; after a brief hello they began to drive. In an instant, Kelly felt the need to sing, out loud! That’s when the magic began…
The two broke into “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge, then “We Are The Champions” by Queen during the ride. We know Kelly from her successful launch with ‘American Idol,’ and we’ve become familiar with Gaten from the television series ‘Stranger Things.’ By the way, Gaten is only 15, but has starred on Broadway in “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,” and “Les Miserables.”
