Remember the huge Justin Timberlake hit, “SexyBack?” Well, it came out 10 years ago and ruled the air waves for quite some time. Justin has recently come out as to his inspiration for the song and it might surprise you.
At the time of Justin writing “SexyBack,” he says that he was listening to a lot of David Bowie! He also said in this interview with Entertainment Weekly that he was listening to “Rebel Rebel” by him 15 times a day before he wrote anything for his hit.
He really loved the synth sounds that we now know made the Timberlake hit huge. Who can’t deny that both songs were great in their day? David Bowie might have recently passed away recently, but his impact has been felt forever and today as well.
