Justin Bieber, Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi Have a Number One Hit

This week’s Mediabase Top 40 chart is out and at the very top is a brand new number one hit. This week the number one hit is Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito.” This remix including Bieber has been a huge hit for the three. Bieber has had trouble with lyrics at concerts in the past and fans have been frustrated about him not performing it at a few shows and with good reason. The song is great!

Last week’s number one, “Stay” from Zedd and Alessia Cara, dropped to two with “I’m the One” by DJ Khaled and many featured artists rounds out the top three. Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” is one of two new hits to the top 10, but is the most impressive one. It jumped all the way to six this week!
