Following the release of their Seltzer Hard Soda, Bud Light is now adding a zero-carb beer to its beverage lineup. Thanks to new brewing breakthroughs nearly ten years in the making, the Bud Light NEXT offers a crisp and refreshing 4% ABV beer at zero carbs and just 80 calories.

“Today’s consumers are all about breaking barriers, being trailblazers, and setting their own path. We are proud to introduce this new super-crisp beer which is brewed to meet their evolving taste preferences; it’s a truly symbolic innovation that celebrates the barrier breakers who like us embrace possibility,” said Andy Goeler, Vice President of Marketing at Bud Light.

To celebrate the release, Bud Light is launching its very first NFT project dubbed “Bud Light N3XT Collection” consisting of 12,722 unique tokens. The NFTs feature a design that “combines a two-part background with an icon that represents beer, culture, gaming, music, and entertainment,” and token holders will be granted access to exclusive benefits such as voting rights on future initiatives and access to partner events.

Bud Light NEXT will be available in the U.S. on February 7, just in time for the Super Bowl, and the NFT mint date is set for February 6. Speaking of the Superbowl, while you’re waiting for NEXT, you can also enter the Bud Light “Get Your Name in the Big Game” Sweepstakes through their Seltzer Hard Soda site.
