Julie Chen Caught in the Middle, Leaving ‘The Talk’

It’s not been a good year for recently departed CBS President Les Moonves and spouse Julie Chen. Although Les is likely to receive a massive million-dollar golden parachute, Julie will exit stage left as co-host of CBS’ daytime series “The Talk”

Julie Suzanne Chen was born in 1970 in Southern California, graduated from USC, and began working at the bottom rung of Los Angeles television until her 1st big break came in the role of news anchor for a Dayton Ohio TV station. Her good fortune and hard work then earned her the job as the co-anchor of The Early Show on CBS. Her most successful role came as the host of the highly rated CBS show Big Brother.

Julie and Les were married in 2009 and are the proud parents of a young son. She’s stood by her man during this storm, and intends to spend more time raising her son and looking for projects to put her professional teeth into.
