Can you have a better year than the one that Jose Altuve is having? He won a World Series for the city of Houston, won the MVP and now won the Male Athlete of the Year award from AP. Congratulations are in order for this star!

Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston earlier this year and it was Altuve and the Astros that gave those in the city a reason to smile. They did amazingly and beat the star-studded Los Angeles Dodgers on the back of Jose Altuve and others.

Others in consideration for this award included LeBron James and Tom Brady. Brady finished second with 646 points compared to LeBron’s 626. Altuve won the award with 715.
