John Mayer Rushed to a New Orleans Hospital

It is being reported that John Mayer was rushed Tuesday to a New Orleans Hospital for emergency appendectomy surgery; his condition at this time is unknown. John is on the road with the ‘Dead and Company’ band when the incident occurred. The medical emergency caused a cancellation of the Tuesday the Smoothie King Center New Orleans show. The band’s management team has been telling fans the ticket will be honored when a make-up date is announced, or they can receive a full refund if need be.

John Mayer and the ‘Dead and Company’ band have just a few more scheduled dates left on the brief tour, but John is still planning on joining Dave Chappelle in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve for a show that combines music and comedy.
