John Legend, one of our favorite stars in music, was a special guest on the PBS series ‘Live from the Artists Den,’ on the air last night! If you’re not familiar with the series, the artist typically places at a neutral location, often times a small quiet venue. John performed (and the show recorded) at Harlem’s Riverside Church in New York City, the spot where Martin Luther King delivered his ‘Vietnam,’ speech.

Given John’s deep roots in his religion, we can only imagine how happy he was to perform in such a memorable location. ‘Live from the Artists Den,’ had been nominated for an Emmy three times, and began in 2009 – its first performer was K.T Tunstall. Other artists who have been guests over the years include The Black Crowes, Tori Amos, Adele, The Fray, Jason Mraz, Sheryl Crow, Mumford & Sons Alanis Morissette, and Soundgarden.
