John Legend, Common, and a host of television celebrities will star in the “An Evening of Comedy + Music,” part of the overall ‘Good (plus) Foundation’ on September 12th in New York City. The charity sill enlists Jerry Seinfeld, ‘SNL’ star Leslie Jones, Michael Strahan and more, raising awareness and revenues for the cause.
The 2018 ‘Good+ Foundation Benefit’ is targeted to help low income American families in need of emotional and educational support. What makes this night special is the opportunity for fans and well-wishers to donate money of course, but goods and time as currency. The night is expensive for a good reason; raising money is a hard job, as packages or tables can start as much as $1,500 and move to a pricy $50,000 per package.
