Joey Feek Nearing the End

It’s truly unfortunate to have to report this, but Joey Feek “has been asleep for days,” says her husband, Rory. Rory discussed the moment before her falling asleep and it certainly sounds peaceful and we can’t help but tear up. All of this appears on his blog that he has been keeping up with throughout this entire journey.

Rory wrote about the last moment, saying that Joey kissed her two-year old and Indiana and spoke to them. She told her two-year old to be a big girl for her dad and “mama will be watching over you.” What a moment.

Earlier this month, the two were nominated for a Grammy, but did not come away with the win. Best wishes to the family Joey and Rory.
