As if we weren’t feeling old enough, Joe Perry of Aerosmith is 65, and has recently announced that he is nearly finished with his latest solo project and that the songs will mostly instrumentals. The album is purposely recorded not to sound like his Joe Perry Project earlier works.
Anthony Joseph Perry was born in Lawrence, Mass. in 1950, and has been the lead guitarist of Aerosmith since its inception from the early 70s. Joe entered the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 as a member of Aerosmith and has written an autobiography entitled “Rocks: My Life In and Out of Aerosmith” to detail his Rock ‘N Roll life.
Joe’s newest work is set to be released within the coming months.
