It has been announced that Joe Manganiello will be playing the character of Deathstroke in the new Batman solo movie in the next few years. This information was confirmed when Geoff Johns, DC Entertainment’s president and CCO, chatted with The Wall Street Journal about the movie.
We’ve never heard of Deathstroke, so we had to do a little research. He’s an enemy of Batman that will play that role when this movie comes out. He’s widely considered one of the baddest dudes in the DC Universe, which is really saying something.
Not sure who Joe Manganiello is? Well, many women out there will know him from the Magic Mike movie series, while others may know him from True Blood, the television show. When Ben Affleck disclosed that Deathstroke would play a part in this next Batman movie we weren’t sure who would be a great candidate, but we are definitely intrigued by this selection.
