Jimmy Fallon is the host of one the great late night television shows, The Tonight Show, and has hosted big award shows before, so it should come as no surprise that he’ll be hosting the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. It has recently been announced that he’ll be the host that follows Ricky Gervais, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey in previous years.
The Golden Globes are shown on NBC, so it isn’t too surprising that this hilarious late night NBC host was picked to host this upcoming award show. This will be the 74th year the award show has been in existence and many hope that Jimmy is part of the reason why it’ll be better than all of the rest.
The 74th Annual Golden Globes will be shown live on Sunday, January 8 of 2017.
